Important Things to Keep in Mind

Weather Conditions

  • Be sure to apply sealer under dry conditions only. Do not apply if rain is expected within 6-8 hours following application.
  • Air and surface temperature should be between 50º and 90ºF during and for 48 hours following application. This will ensure proper product penetration.
Thinning
  • Do not thin
Applying
  • DO NOT ETCH BEFORE APPLICATION.
  • Best results are achieved when using a plastic pump-up sprayer to apply.
You may also use a conventional roller (1/2" nap) or brush.
  • The pump-up sprayer applies the sealer in the form of droplets rather than a mist.
  • Use a flood method to apply two thin coats; always having the sealer run into itself.
  • Always work from the bottom of the driveway to the garage.
  • DO NOT OVER APPLY.
Cleaning
  • Cleanup is easy—simply use paint thinner from your local home improvement store.
