SL-40
- Excellent moisture inhibitor
- Will not change the traction of skid resistance of horizontal surfaces
- No color change of substrate
- Dries quickly allowing substrate to be reopened to foot traffic within one hour
- Meets N.C.H.R.P. report 244 certification
- No masking or cleaning of windows

H&C®
SX-7 is a zero VOC proprietary 7% Siloxane water repellant that does not
require dilution and helps concrete and masonry surfaces resist cracking,
spalling, staining and other damage related to water intrusion.
H&C®
SL-40 Silane Water Repellant is a proprietary 40% Silane that penetrates into
concrete or masonary and provides long term weatherproofing protection.
- Cast-in-place and precast concrete.
- Exposed aggregate.
- Brick and Mortar.
- Stucco and sandstone.
- Architectural Concrete Block.
Weather Conditions
- Surface should be completely dry. Allow at least 24 hours with sunshine
for drying, if surface was wet.
- Do not apply below 40ºF (4ºC) or above 95ºF (35ºC).
If freezing conditions exist before application, let masonry thaw. The water
carrier may freeze at low temperatures or evaporate in hot conditions. Both
conditions impair penetration and results. Do not apply if rain is expected
within 3 hours. Do not apply during windy conditions. Do not dilute or alter
these products.
Cleaning
- Clean sprayer and tools with Isopropyl or denatured alcohol.
- Apply a single application with low-pressure spray equipment (15psi),
roller or broom.
- On vertical surfaces apply the material from the bottom of the wall
upwards spraying so that it will run down the surface at least six inches
below the spray pattern.
- On horizontial surfaces, sufficiently apply to completely cover flood
the surface (approximately 125 FT2/gal). Typically, the surface can be
reopened to traffic in one hour if the temperature is at 72ºF (22ºC)
or above.
