H&C® Paver Sealer Gloss WB

For the popular gloss look on your pavers, apply H&C Paver Sealer Gloss over the H&C Paver Sealer Natural (which locks in the joint sand) for the ideal system.  This gloss sealer will penetrate and protect your pavers if used alone as well,  while the Natural will also lock in the joint sand between pavers.

H&C Paver Sealer Gloss is a premium quality sealer that protects pavers and prolongs the natural beauty only pavers can bring to an outdoor living area.  This product applies milky white and dries clear to ensure complete coverage, and is extremely easy to apply.  It provides excellent weather resistance while protecting the investment against water damage.  It is solvent-free and VOC compliant, water-based.

One gallon covers 100-150 square feet, depending on porosity.  Also available in 5-gallon pails.

  1. Product Supplies

    • Paint brush, roller covers, frames
    • Paint tray, liner
    • Low pressure pump-up sprayer: nozzle not to exceed 20 psi (pounds per square inch)

  2. Product Preparation

    This product should be applied to a clean surface that is free of dirt, oil, grease and mildew.  H&C Cleaner Degreaser will remove light soils, follow label instructions thoroughly.  All excess joint sand should be swept off the surface prior to application. 

    Do not apply H&C Paver Sealer Gloss if rain is imminent within 12 hours of application

  3. Product Application

    First Coat: The most efficient method of application is with a low-pressure pump sprayer but can be brushed or rolled if desired. Nozzle pressure should not exceed 20 psi. Apply the sealer liberally and evenly; flood the paving stone.

     

    If working with vertical surfaces, such as retaining walls, coat in the same manner above, working from the bottom of the wall to the top. Allow the sealer to run down the surface 8 to 10 inches always maintaing a wet edge to prevent "lapping".

     

     

    Second Coat: If desired, apply within 1-2 hours of first coat application. Do not over apply this product as the surface may become slippery. Do not apply more than 2 coats of H&C paver sealer.  In the final coat, feel free to add H&C's SharkGrip™ Slip-Resistant Additive for a more slip resistant surface. 

     

    Drying time:

    Touch: 1 hour

    Recoat: 1-2 hours

    Light Traffic: 24 hours

    Heavy Traffic: 48 hours
